The story of Yar house began when a family set out on a journey to build with architecture in mind. We joined the project midway. The constructed building did not align properly with the width of the site, so we decided to start with proportions. Our first priority became aligning the dimensions of the project with those of the site. By adding a false façade that created a new spatial layer in the backyard, we addressed this issue. From there, we continued the architecture through the use of arches and vaults, and the contrast between the warmth of earth and the coolness of metal… In the hope that love would endure in this space.
